De Topdon BTMobile ProS accutester is een draadloze diagnosemodule ontworpen voor professionele monteurs en diagnosetechnici. Dit apparaat maakt gebruik van conductantiemeettechnologie om 12V-voertuigaccu's te analyseren. De tester heeft een operationeel spanningsbereik van 8V tot 16V en een meetbereik van 100 tot 2000 CCA. Het systeem ondersteunt diverse accutypes, waaronder reguliere natte loodzuuraccu's, AGM (vlakke plaat en spiraal), GEL, EFB en deep-cycle accu's.
Deze Bluetooth-tester communiceert met een smartphone of tablet via een applicatie om de meetresultaten te verwerken. De beschikbare testmodi omvatten een accutest, starttest, laadtest en een volledige systeemtest. Tijdens de analyse leest het apparaat de spanningswaarden en berekent het de interne weerstand om de actuele SOH (State of Health) en SOC (State of Charge) vast te stellen. De interpretatie van de testgegevens resulteert in een feitelijk oordeel per accucel en is compatibel met voertuigen die geconfigureerd zijn volgens normen zoals EN, DIN en SAE.

Toepassingen en functionaliteiten
De module biedt diverse meetprotocollen voor het diagnosticeren van het complete elektrische systeem van een voertuig via de applicatie.
- Accutest: Berekent de SOH en SOC door de interne weerstand en resterende startcapaciteit te meten. Dit verschaft technische data over de mate van celdegradatie en de actuele conditie.
- Starttest (Cranking Test): Analyseert de conditie van de startmotor. De module meet de startspanning en de reactietijd tijdens het starten van de verbrandingsmotor om stroomverlies op te sporen.
- Laadtest (Charging Test): Controleert de uitgangsspanning van de dynamo. Het systeem meet laadfluctuaties bij zowel stationair als verhoogd toerental om defecten aan spanningsregelaars of diodes te identificeren.
- Systeemtest: Een sequentiële diagnose waarbij de accutest, starttest en laadtest direct achter elkaar worden uitgevoerd. Alle meetgegevens worden vervolgens in één gecentraliseerd digitaal overzicht gepresenteerd.
Speciale functies en mogelijkheden
De tester is uitgerust met softwarematige functies in de applicatie die gericht zijn op langdurig databeheer en testvoorbereiding.
- Dataregistratie (Lifetime Data Recorder): De applicatie bewaart automatisch de testgegevens van alle uitgevoerde metingen. Deze historische data kan worden geraadpleegd voor latere analyses of om verloop in degradatie bij specifieke voertuigen te monitoren.
- Voertuigdatabase (Battery Library): Een geïntegreerde naslagwerkfunctie in de app die gedetailleerde informatie toont over compatibele accu's. Dit assisteert de technicus bij het invoeren van de juiste referentiewaarden voorafgaand aan een accutest.
